Girl meets world best riley and lucas moments

Girl Meets World has borrowed a ton of story lines from its predecessor, Boy Meets World , but one that's definitely brand new is the love triangle between Riley, Lucas, and Maya that's been raging since season two. Sadly, the love triangle in Girl Meets World has gone on for waaaaaay longer than one episode. But it finally came to an end on last Friday's episode and Lucas finally ended up "choosing" I use that word sooooo loosely — more on that later between Riley and Maya. In Girl Meets Ski Lodge: Part 2 , the whole gang revisited the ski lodge from Boy Meets World , and staying at the lodge made all the relationship drama bubble up to the surface between the gang, especially since Maya's other crush, Riley's uncle Josh, was there. Basically, Maya and Josh have a deep conversation at the ski lodge's bay window where ALL deep convos are had in GMW world and Josh makes Maya realize that she cared about Riley so much that, in order to protect her, she became like Riley and crushed on Lucas to make sure that he was a good enough guy for her. Maya encourages Lucas to go after Riley after she sees how upset he is that Riley is bonding with the new guy at the ski lodge, Evan.

Maya and Lucas ~ Best Scenes (season 1) ~ Girl Meets World

After only a few seasons Girl Meets World has not only lived up to its predecessor Boy Meets World , but some of the episodes have even surpassed the original while paying respect to the numerous lessons and plot-lines of the the original series that kept everyone watching from until its end in The story begins with following their daughter Riley Matthews, her little brother Auggie, and her best friend Maya Hart as they enter junior high school where they meet their classmates Lucas Friar and Farkle Minkus.

Debate champion, Isadora Smackle, from a rival school seeks the affections of her nemesis, Farkle and turns to Riley and Maya for a makeover.

This episode gains it's strength from the discussion of superficial beauty and establishes that there really are no clear cut answers. After Riley's English teacher retires, a new teacher takes his place.

Her unconventional teaching style inspires the students including Maya, but this soon causes trouble with the Principal and when Cory attempts to defend the teacher, his job becomes jeopardized as well.

This episode is a stand out as how much an individual can affect others. What starts out as Maya finding some money outside of Cory's classroom quickly turns into an assignment from Cory on examining each other's beliefs through reports on Thomas Jefferson and Joan of Arc. As the assignment creates tensions between the four, Cory steps in to provide them insight as to why beliefs are different and how listening to others helps them to understand their own beliefs. This episode marks one of the first open discussions on religion and belief Disney has introduced to the series with a very thoughtful approach.

Cory comes up with the idea of a forgiveness project for everyone to express their feelings on paper to someone they wish to forgive but when Maya decides to write to her father things take a different turn.

Maya's confrontation with her father and acceptance of events make this not only one of the most emotional episodes but one of the best performances by Maya Sabrina Carpenter. While Riley is bothered that she has not been nominated for any awards at the upcoming Graduation and Awards night, she is more disturbed when Farkle is not present to receive his award. Riley, Maya and Lucas soon learn that Farkle is being bullied and Riley comes up with the idea to write their flaws on their foreheads.

Another emotional and empowering episode that takes a different look at bullying and the uniqueness of individuals. After the results of a school IQ test show Farkle to be a genius, the Minkuses hold a party for their son and Isadora Smackle comes to invite Farkle to transfer to the Einstein Academy however, later tests identify that Farkle may have Asperger's syndrome , a form of autism.

This episode is one of the most powerful as it explores the reactions to autism and even the shifting emotions and perceptions of those surrounding the diagnosis. As Maya describes Riley's place of uniqueness as 'Rileytown,' it sets Riley on edge. While Cory's class are learning how to resolve conflicts, sensing something is wrong Maya confronts Riley and discovers someone has been sending her threatening text messages and bullying her for a few weeks.

Easily one of the most powerful episodes so far that confronts cyber-bullying and the damaging effects it has. Girl Meets World will continue to live up to its unofficial tagline, " people change people.

The two are very close friends and both share similar traits of caring and standing up for others. The moment Lucas and Riley share a smile on the subway, Riley is immediately smitten and develops a crush on him. However, as their relationship develops, her original small, shallow crush on Lucas, turns into a strong, and real relationship. Her feelings for him continue to remain the same throughout subsequent episodes although some episodes focus less on their relationship than others.

Lucas and Riley

Lucas Friar : So, what are you thinking? Maya Hart : Oh, now? Oh, it's so funny you mention that, right in this exact moment, what I was thinking, what was running through my head was actually if you don't start talking to me, I'm gonna pour this smoothie right over your head, so why don't you give me the best you got. Lucas Friar : Did I ever tell you once I delivered a baby horse? She proceeds to pour his smoothie over his head as well]. Lucas Friar : Actually, it looks kinda like this. The miracle of life. Charlie Gardner : Save me now.
