A lifelong Philadelphia, Mike Tait is one of the most experienced guides under the age of 45, with over eight years experience under his belt. Mike has given tours on foot, bus, boat, and segway. He has written two ghost tours as well as the LGBT-IQ Tour. In 2009, Mike was one of three guides who successfully fought City Hall when they attempted to require mandatory certification of guides. Two years later, he became one of the first voluntarily certified guides through the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides (APT), of which he is a founding member. Outside of touring, Mike plays bass sax for Greater Overbrook Strong Band. He also writes, acts, and directs. He is currently certified in six weapons through the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). Last but not least, Mike is an ordained reverend through the Universal Life Monastery, and has performed two wedding ceremonies.
