Picks for December (part 2): YACHT 12/13

Electro-pop-dance-punk-or-whatever west coast band YACHT comes to Philly for the third time in two years, this time to one of our favorite venues: Underground Arts. Even though their last studio album came out in 2011, they”ve been releasing singles and performing all over for the past two years. Their songs are occasionally apocalyptic (language warning, as we are a wholesome tour company), fun, euphoric, and, ok, maybe a bit cult-y.

This is what YACHT looks like. That”s Mr. YACHT and Ms. YACHT.

Joining YACHT will be local Philly DJs Les Professionnels, Vacationer, Locals Only, and some more as well.  Loyal readers will notice that this is Les Professionnels” second mention in so many months on the Phillycentric Blog, so obviously we”re big fans.

Tickets are $16.00 and doors open at 11:00pm. The venue is located in the Callowhill district, north of Chinatown and right by the Trestle Inn.
