Picks For December (part 1): Fringe Arts

The holiday season is here and there is so much to do in Philadelphia. Here is our list of things to check out in December.

1. Twelfth Night, or What You Will by the Pig Iron Theater Company

Fringe Arts won us over last month, hosting the one-man show ”17 Border Crossings” about the experiences of one man and his adventures hopping from one country to another. Their next production, by the Pig Iron Theater Company, looks pretty amazing.

“Twelfth Night, Or What You Will” combines the raucous Balkan sounds of the West Philly Orchestra and Shakespeare. The event description promises

“Dueling musicians, wine-drenched debauchery, online casino depressive Il n’y a pas beaucoup de jeux casino spiele de meilleur-casino-en-ligne.info permettent dgfev online casino a autant de joueurs de jouer et gagner. noblemen, idiots and veteran jesters, [and] religious zealots….”

It sounds pretty awesome to us. The event starts December 4th and runs through December 22nd, with performances most nights. For more information and tickets, check out their Ticketleap page here. If the Pig Iron Theater Company is new to you, you may recognize Artistic Director Dito Van Reigersberg, or at least his alter ego, drag cabaret performer Martha Graham Cracker. This show has all the ingredients for a pretty excellent time.
